- Blue River Threshing Festival The Blue River Threshing Festival is unique in that one can witness the whole wheat harvesting process; from cutting, binding and shocking, loading the wagons in the fields, running the wheat through the thresher to the grinding of the flour (free samples!). This daylong event ends with a community "threshing supper" and bluegrass/gospel music. 2010 event will be on July 3rd
