1 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1 C Oatmeal
1 stick melted butter
1/2 t cinnamon
6-8 apples, cut, sliced, peeled (suggested varieties: jonathan, king david, golden delicious, gala, ida red)

| Directions |
Arrange apples in a 9 x 13 in glass baking dish until full. Mix together the first five ingredients in a seperate bowl until crumbly. Crumble topping onto top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mintues or until apples are soft.

| Ingredients |
1 pint persimmon pulp
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 cup half and half
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup melted butter
Dash of cinnamon

| Directions |
Combine persimmon pulp, sugar and eggs. Stir flour with baking powder; add to persimmon mixture alternately with a combination of the cream, buttermilk and soda.
Use a pastry brush to coat the baking pan well with melted butter, stir remaining butter into persimmon mixture. Stir in cinnamon. Stir well and pour into a 13x9x3 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
