The Hancock Harvest Council is a member-supported group of farmers and others who are concerned about the sustainability of the small family farm. They feel that it is important for Indiana consumers to have ready access to high quality, locally grown farm products and that the close relationship of farmer and consumer can help provide for both.
The purpose of the Hancock Harvest Council is to expand the opportunities for agricultural producers in the Hancock County area to sell what they produce locally. This may include farm-direct marketing, farmer markets, Community Supported Agriculture, and other means.
